WELCOME Back as we conclude this weeks blog session with Summation Saturday! Yep-Yep!
Nobody’s Perfect is one of the 1st lessons we learn… usually to pacify when we encounter short comings.
Who is the judge of perfection, how is it that there is always something or Someone there to remind you of your imperfections… No matter what someone labels as perfection it is only in their perception that the judgment lies. How can someone tell you what is perfect for you and they do not know the path or the reward that you follow and seek. The label of perfection in your life can only be placed by you… the thing is to be completely honest and transparent with yourself.
Stepping outside of yourself and operating from spirit to basically judge yourself. The old saying “I’m my own worst critic” speaks volume to this. The thing is, we have been programmed to look at critique as negative implications only. Most of the time when another is critiquing you for whatever reason their judgment or critique is jaded by how they may feel about you or your situations… The difference is, when your critique of perfection within your dealings comes from you, it can only be jaded if you’re not honest with yourself. And who better to call yourself out than YOU?
This way any anger or prejudice is eliminated from the equation of your results. You can only lie to yourself for so long, before that reflection in the mirror says , “ENOUGH!!!” Unless Vampire-itis (yeah, I made that up) is what you suffer from? That is when your “being” is invisible to you… In essence you have no idea of who you are. This can be an undetectable dis-ease to the naked eye, and can plague one through their whole life without them knowing. It is also very contagious, because if you surround yourself with lost souls of this type, surely you’ll start to fade away.
There is hope and remedy for all who suffer; it starts with an in depth self diagnoses…
I myself had to realize, regardless of any accomplishments that I may stand upon, at any moment I was victorious. I obtained that on a basis of doing just enough to get by, instead of excelling towards uncharted heights. I for the longest was satisfied or justified with being “one of the best,” instead of going the extra mile of diligence to be THE BEST. The false validity that I allowed to be my reality for so long could have easily been the holy water, garlic, or cross I bore that put me in my coffin for that eternal vampire nap… Lol (figuratively speaking of course)
They say children change your life, and the lessons that I consistently drill into my sons echoes in my head every minute, of every day. For I know I am but a vessel in which The Most High delivers message through. I would have to be spiritually dead like a vampire or a hypocrite to not apply these lessons wholeheartedly to myself. Since I am neither of these I have learned to love and nurture my perfect imperfections. Even in the scriptures Jesus was not labeled as perfect by those who opposed him. Early on, some followers were not convinced of the perfections that he encompassed. It was by the acts performed in diligence towards righteousness that these perfections were displayed, just by him being.
Never hurts to remind one another of the greatness and perfections we share with this Christ energy…
Last week I was blessed with a new tool on spreading GOoDness to the people. A fellow blogger Simple Tom way over in Thailand had a brilliant idea, along with a buddy of his, of giving an encouraging message to passer byers… Very simple (no pun intended) I know, but also very powerful and a refreshing reminder that no matter how small; a good deed can go a looooong way. So I took it upon myself to carry on this young man’s thoughtful act here in the states (where we can probably use it most). I utilized the same message “You Are Perfect” on a piece of cardboard in both English and Spanish. I then posted up at the neighborhood Quick Trip.
The message caught the eye of quite a few at the store and those driving on the street as they passed by me. I must say it was very invigorating to be the vessel for this message to touch so many people I’ve never met before. Most only caught eye contact and/or gave a nod of their head to acknowledge the message. Some where looks of “Who the hell he think he is to say everybody is perfect”… To those I say set up that appointment with yourself in the mirror, and then reassess your question to say ” Who in the hell told ME I’m not perfect?”
