Summation Saturday

Progression cannot be accomplished without making your situation better.

Welcome to another wrap up of a week that we moved forward in our stages of advancement towards what is success in our own light. I say we moved forward because we are still here and still breathing working hand and hand with opportunity to reach the next level.

I have no idea if you accomplished anything at all this week, the point that I want to stress is to make every move a positive. Even if you feel like you did nothing but slack all week, use this week as a poster board of what you will NEVER do again in route to GREATNESS.

I tell myself when can’t tries to breathe, put it in the can… to suffocate it.

This was not meant to be a long drawn out message today (hence the title). The main focus in this  blog or morale to this short story is: always continue to GET better. Never over-judge in your overstanding of any situation involving yourself or others. Now that is not to say don’t have standards, because see… standards are what totally separate the wheat from the tare… (chew on that for a minute).

Always be on improving yourself in any way shape or form.  Never allow yourself or what others say and do to make you stall the motor running in your vehicle, on the road to improvement. In the mean time; take 2 of these, subscribe, and GET EMPOWERED in the morning.

GET Inspired ~ The Power in Progression

WELCOME  As We Free-Style this Friday into The Power of Progression

The Power that we all seek is only a situation away.

We go through our daily lives religiously devoted to the status quo that is laid before us early on in life to accomplish… You know the working 9 to 5, take the kids to school, come home feed the dogs, have dinner, brush your teeth, say your prayers, go to sleep only to get up and  do it all again on tomorrow.

There is so much more for us to truly fulfill ourselves with, in this lifetime that we miss because we are not taught how to stop and smell the roses of life. I have taken it upon myself to be the example that is needed, for at least my loved ones to see this empowerment in action.  The date 11/26/12 was the onset of my purifying journey.

My 3rd son was born on this day, and with that so was I … Reborn so to speak, because the strength that God instilled into my wife and I was unfathomable before that date, I take that back I had experienced this with my 2nd son but, I relinquished the power when I fell back into the regular cycle of living working, taking kids to school ultimately, dis-empowering myself with what was initiated.

You see we freestyle with the way we have brought our children into the world… Unassisted Home Birth, I know, I know, it sounds crazy when you first think on it. When my wife originally brought the idea to me I laughed at it and we had a few joking moments in the first few months of the pregnancy with our 1st son. Until we realized that this was going to be our reality, then the jokes went out the window and reality set in.

From the very beginning this was a stress relieving transition. We were seeing a regular OB when we first got pregnant, you know, just following protocol. After about two months of 1 hour waiting room visits and 15 minute Dr. appointments, we decided we wanted to experience our first baby with a Dr. who actually gave a damn about us and our baby, not just setting another scheduled c-section birth up to fill the hospitals quota or allow her to fill her personal monthly quota. The fact she prescribed Tylenol 3 with codeine for my wife’s Headache also helped us make that decision.

The first visit we had with Sage Midwifery and Marinah Ferrell was a breath of fresh air. The first thing was there was no long wait for our appointment, then when we got back there Marinah took her time to get to know us and all about our situation. This had us leaving the appointment with a new-found reassurance, it is hard to explain but it just felt right to the spirit to make that change. From then on it is Ourstory . The things we started to learn and be empowered with in preparing our home and ourselves for this baby was life changing. On 08/14/07 life was literally changed forever.

We began to learn so many natural ways to take care of any problems or preparations for bay’s arrival. By the way the headaches were resolved by drinking more water… Hmm, fancy that! 

The knowledge that we acquired from Sage Midwifery was priceless, and needed. The search for our second midwife when we had moved to Georgia did not settle in so well. We did find someone eventually, and I will leave out names in this instance. Let’s just say it was an opposite end of the spectrum of what we had with Sage. We got to the day of the birth and the Midwife had an “emergency” that caused her to not arrive to the birth until it was time to cut the cord. I know right… talk about sink or swim situation here.

Nevertheless, we were reassured by Marinah over the phone that we were more prepared than we thought… She reminded us that she was just a coach for us the first time and we had already delivered our first son perfectly. With this reminded power that we had been instilled with our 2nd son was born 08/17/09. Shortly after, I returned to work almost erasing the new light that was shed on my life of what we are actually capable of. Back to the regularly scheduled program of giving the best part of my day to my employer and not my family.

Well after the birth of my 3rd son 11/26/12 (which by the way is the same day I met his mother 8 yrs ago 11/26/04), there was no turning back on this empowerment. I have now been away from working the 9 to 5 for 5 months. The freedom that we are living is more en-strengthening by the day. The adjustment to not having a paycheck every week has been the hurdle that is constantly reappearing, but the reward of time with my family is unmatched. We home-school our children, and we are also part-time bloggers, full-time entertainers and activist.

The ground that we are able to cover in being who we are now through this freedom fighter position we have taken on, is in the early stages, but OH SO POWERFUL! Any accomplishments we make now we are able to fully engulf what our spirit wants to get out of it. Mainly because of the clarity on our purpose that has been obtained from the births of our children. There is nothing we can not accomplish that is set in front of us because of who we are and what we are capable of.
